Founded in 2023 by producers and engineers Nathan Han and William Turgeon, alongside manager Sofia Shahbazzadeh, Parents Basement Audio aims to make recording easy and accessible for anyone, at any budget.
PBA is a creative hub for musicians who need professional, high-quality recording, mixing and mastering for their next project. We strive to achieve excellence anywhere no matter the limitations; It does not matter if we are in a basement or a million dollar studio.
Our Story
We met at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and quickly became friends and work partners. The earliest version of PBA started in 2023, when William and Nathan created a music production business as their university thesis project, composing soundtracks for short films and TV shows. Sofia is our manager; she is highly organized, has a passion for music, and handles all of our backend operations. We are a group of passionate and driven young professionals dedicated to bringing creative ideas to life.
